2024-10 MODELS TO PREDICT THE REMOVAL OF EMERGING MICROPOLLUTANTS FROM WATER BY NOVEL ADSORBENTS IN FIXED-BED COLUMN PROCESSES

Due: October 2, 2024

This program is designed to accelerate “the development and deployment of innovative water technologies that address pressing drinking water supply, quality, treatment, or security challenges of public water systems, areas served by private wells, or source waters.” Under the program, EPA shall make grants “(1) to develop, test, and deploy innovative water technologies; or (2) to provide technical assistance to deploy demonstrated innovative water technologies.” The models developed, tested and deployed under this solicitation for novel adsorbents for the removal of micropollutants from water are expected to contribute to the development of innovative water technologies for drinking water systems and expected to lead to the development of new and improved drinking water and wastewater treatment processes.
