Description: To employ unique self-detoxification capability into CB protective suits. Self-detoxifying prototypes will mitigate logistics costs associated with CBRN protective suits; the suits will render the threat inactive and thereby enabling reuse of the suit. Furthermore, self-detoxifying technologies will mitigate the need to repel liquid chemical agent –thus eliminating the need for per-fluoroalkyl and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) to be used in CB protective suits.
