The SIS program provides the capability to temporarily isolate or quarantine personnel to prevent the spread of infection and safely evacuate patients for transfer off the ship. Capability will be used on multiple Navy ship types to contain and medically monitor/treat infectious disease patients while protecting embarked crew and personnel.
