The Accelerating Advanced Digital Construction Management Systems (ADCMS) Program. The statutory goal for the FTA ADCMS Program (49 U.S.C. § 5312(b)(4)) is to: “promote, implement, deploy, demonstrate, showcase, support, and document” advanced digital construction management systems. One of the US Department of Transportation’s major initiatives is to increase infrastructure project excellence. Accelerating the use of digital tools across the lifecycle of an infrastructure program can result in significant benefits to transit agencies, especially to reduce cost overruns and mitigate potential schedule changes.
