JSTO funded activities generate, process, and analyze massive amounts of diverse data. As the complexity of CB defense research grows, encompassing spectral, multi-omics, molecular dynamics, physiological, and epidemiological data, the volume and fragmentation of JSTO’s data have become critical bottlenecks. Currently, these data exist across disconnected systems, sensor system silos, disparate databases, and multiple formats, limiting JSTO’s ability to fully leverage advanced analytics and artificial intelligence/machine learning (AI/ML) capabilities in new development efforts.
