This funding mechanism supports high-risk/high-reward research that has the potential to make a major impact in lupus research and/or lupus disease. The emphasis is on impact. Research must address at least one of the fiscal year 2026 (FY26) Lupus Research Program (LRP) Impact Award (IPA) focus areas. This funding mechanism does not allow clinical trials.
