OBJECTIVE: Develop a radio agnostic Software Defined RadioHead (SDRH) system with the capability to rapidly adapt the radio carrier frequency among diverse targeted frequency bands using analog and/or digital frequency conversion. Frequency translation of the original signal into a broad range of non-standard bands via the SDRH will help provide additional flexibility to the commander’s Primary, Alternate, Contingency, and Emergency communication plan. The SBIR effort proposed will leverage the foundational knowledge of SDRH and mature them to support a single antenna design to support multiple radios and waveforms.
